Lubnya is a small, peaceful village in Zakarpattia, tucked into the valley of the Lubnya River, a tributary of the Uzh, in the northernmost mountainous part of the district. It's a quiet base for travelers heading toward Uzhanskyi National Park.

The surrounding landscape is classic Carpathian countryside — gentle forested slopes, clean mountain air and a scenic river valley. In spring and summer the area is lush and calm, autumn brings colorful hillsides, and winter blankets the village in snow, making it an appealing stop for hikers year-round.
