Stříbrník is a small but striking volcanic peak near Jablonné v Podještědí, crowned with a rocky ridge that rewards visitors with sweeping views over the Liberec region. It's an ideal short hike for anyone wanting big scenery without a big commitment.

The summit is built from olivine basalt, forming a distinctive columnar-jointed ridge with irregular, many-sided rock formations - three separate, parallel-shifted rocky peaks give the mountain its unusual profile. The slopes are mostly covered in spruce forest, while scrubby vegetation, including a single yew tree, grows near the top. Fields stretch across the foothills, adding a pastoral touch to the scenery. From the accessible summit rock, a circular view opens up toward Ralsko, Ještěd, and nearly the entire Lusatian Mountains - a rewarding payoff for such a modest climb.

• Žibřidice (from the north) - green trail, crossing fields and passing a deer enclosure, easy route
• Western part of the village - yellow trail, along the slope of Pěnkavčí vrch to the Stříbrník summit
• Útěchovice (from the south) - green trail via neighboring Útěchovický Špičák (500 m), the longest approach

• The summit area has been protected as the Stříbrník Nature Monument since 1968, managed by the Liberec Region since 2003
• Eagle owls and ravens nest on the cliffs, so quiet behavior is appreciated, especially during breeding season
• A small hut stands just below the summit rock

The unusual parallel rock ridges and traces of contact metamorphism in the underlying sandstone and marlstone make Stříbrník a small geological gem within the Ralsko Uplands.
