Skalický vrch is one of two dominant hills rising above the village of Skalice u České Lípy. Once home to a mountaintop restaurant, today it offers hikers a quiet forested summit and a view over the town of Česká Lípa.

The hill has a sandstone base topped by a cone-shaped basalt summit, entirely covered in forest, including its scree slopes. The view opens only to the south, but it's a rewarding one across the rolling Českolipsko countryside. The summit plateau rises roughly 180 meters above the village at its foot, making for a short but genuinely uphill walk. In autumn the forest turns golden and quiet, while winter brings a hushed, almost solitary atmosphere to the trail.

The hill once marked the historic border between Bohemia and Upper Lusatia, earning it the old name Český vrch, and in the 18th century it was home to the hermit Samuel Görner.
