Polevský vrch is a modest but charming hill rising above the village of Polevsko, offering surprisingly wide views across the surroundings despite its moderate height of 627 m above sea level. It's a perfect destination for an easy, relaxed walk in the northeastern corner of the Bohemian Uplands (České středohoří).

The hill is known for its elongated, flat, grassy ridge, which opens up to far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Like other peaks in the area, it's a phonolite hill, part of the region's characteristic volcanic landscape. In winter, the slopes facing the village transform into a small ski area, while in warmer months the hill offers a peaceful, pastoral atmosphere among meadows and forests typical of the Bohemian Uplands.

How to reach the summit

• From the village of Polevsko - via the ski slopes, an easy, short and undemanding walk
• From the yellow-marked trail running from Svor to Kytlice, which passes through the valley east below the summit, from where you can continue up to the top

• Two ski lifts and a slalom slope are located on the slopes facing the village, with parking available at the base
• Maintained SKI Polevsko cross-country trails run across the slopes of the hill
• The peak lies within the cadastral area of Polevsko, in the Česká Lípa district
