Rígeľ (1,008.6 m) is the westernmost peak of the main ridge of the Kozie chrbty range, rising above the settlement of Svarín. It's a spot for those who like their hikes wild and quiet — no marked trail leads to the summit, so it's mostly visited by off-the-beaten-path hikers.

The summit is covered by dense forest that blocks views from the very top, but in spots with sparser vegetation you can catch glimpses of the surrounding peaks of the Kozie chrbty and nearby Low Tatras, as well as the Chočské vrchy, the Western and High Tatras, and the Liptov Basin below. In winter the forest turns quiet and snow-draped, while summer brings deep green shade — this is a place for those who value a peaceful walk more than sweeping panoramas.
