Obnoga (1081 m a.s.l.) is a modest but atmospheric peak in the Western Bieszczady Mountains, part of the Tarnica and Halicz group. What makes it special is its wildness - there are no marked trails here, making it a destination for those who enjoy off-the-beaten-path exploration.

The mountain sits on a ridge branching northeast from the highest summit of Bukowe Berdo (1311 m), continuing through Grandysowa Czuba and the Jeleniowate range. The slopes of Obnoga are mostly forested, but the summit itself, on its southeastern-facing slope, opens onto a scenic meadow with panoramic views over the surrounding ridges. In autumn and winter especially, the area offers a deep sense of solitude and untouched wilderness typical of the Bieszczady.

• The border between Bieszczady National Park and Dolina Sanu Landscape Park runs across the peak - within the national park, hiking off marked trails is prohibited
• Access is only possible from the north and east; continuing along the ridge toward Bukowe Berdo is forbidden

Until 2007, a wooden hunters' cabin from the communist era stood on the slope of Obnoga, popular among hikers as a shelter and overnight stop - it burned down and was never rebuilt, now remaining only as a memory of past Bieszczady adventures.
