Naroże is a quiet, forested peak hidden along the main ridge of the Policy Range, tucked between Soska and Malinowe Pass. It's a great pick for hikers who love peaceful woodland trails away from the crowds of the more popular Beskid summits.

The whole summit is covered in forest, so don't expect sweeping panoramic views here — instead you get plenty of shade in summer and a moody, dense green atmosphere. Naroże acts as a ridge junction, with a short spur branching south-east toward Migasowa Grapa, flanked by two small streams, Jarominów Potok and Migasów Potok. In autumn and spring the ground can get muddy, while in winter snow tends to linger here longer than on lower parts of the range.

How to get to the summit

• Malinowe Pass — Main Beskid Trail (red), relatively short approach, moderate difficulty
• From the Soska side — continuation of the Main Beskid Trail, easy to moderate section

Practical information

• Watch out for map discrepancies — on the Compass map and in some guidebooks, Naroże and Soska are swapped compared to Geoportal data
• The summit sits on the boundary between the villages of Skawica and Sidzina, in Sucha County
• The trail is part of a long GSB stretch: Jordanów – Kucałowa Pass (total ascent 830 m, descent 170 m, hiking time approx. 5 hours)

Fun fact: Naroże's name and elevation are often confused with neighboring Soska on different maps, so it's worth carrying an up-to-date Geoportal map to avoid getting mixed up on the trail.
