Malý kopec (1039 m) is a quiet, forested summit in the Orava Beskids, rising above the village of Novoť. It's a place for hikers who prefer solitude and wild forest trails over crowded viewpoints.

The peak lies in the Ošust sub-range, in the southwestern part of the Orava Beskids, close to the Polish border. The summit itself is covered by dense forest, so there's no open view from the top, but from spots on the slopes with sparser vegetation you can enjoy views of the surrounding Orava, Kysuce, Silesian and Żywiec Beskids, as well as the Krivánska Fatra, Orava Magura, and the Low and High Tatras. The area falls within the Upper Orava Protected Landscape Area, adding to its natural charm. In winter the forest is silent and snow-covered, while summer brings cool green shade beneath the canopy.
