Lopushna (1,694 m a.s.l.) is one of the striking summits of the Syvulia ridge in the Gorgany massif of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Its open, tree-free crown and wild character make it a rewarding destination for anyone venturing into this unspoiled corner of the mountains.

The lower slopes and foothills are blanketed in dense forest, which gives way higher up to open terrain marked by broad scree fields and thickets of mountain pine. The northeastern and southwestern flanks are particularly steep, adding an element of challenge to the ascent. From the summit, the eye is drawn southeast toward Velyka Syvulia (1,836 m), the highest peak of the entire ridge. In summer the views across the rolling Carpathian landscape are superb; autumn brings vivid forest colours on the approach, while winter turns the slopes into a serious alpine environment.
