Grodnik is a quiet, broad hill in the Krowiarki range, part of the Śnieżnik Massif in the Eastern Sudetes - a place for hikers who prefer solitude over crowded trails. It's not the most famous summit in the region, but that low-key character is exactly its appeal.

The hill is mostly covered by fields and meadows, while the summit area and parts of the slopes are wrapped in spruce and mixed forest, creating a pleasant contrast between open pastures and shaded woodland. In summer the meadows offer green views over the surrounding Krowiarki ridges, while in winter the area turns into a peaceful, snow-covered landscape great for a quiet snowshoe walk. Grodnik sits on the main ridge of the Krowiarki, between Kwaśniak to the south and Różanka to the northwest, making it a nice link on a longer ridge hike.

Grodnik is built of metamorphic rocks - mainly mica schists and gneisses belonging to the Lądek-Śnieżnik metamorphic complex, which makes it an interesting stop for geology enthusiasts too.
