Panenský Týnec is a former convent of the Poor Clares transformed into a chateau, tucked into a small town in the Louny district. It's a place layered with history - Gothic foundations, Renaissance rebuilding, and a 19th-century makeover all in one compact site.

The chateau sits on a distinct terrain edge, so its southern facade rises a full storey while the northern side is only ground level - giving the building an unusual, asymmetric silhouette. Down in the cellars, Gothic masonry from the original convent still survives. The small-town setting is peaceful year-round, with a quiet, contemplative mood that suits an unhurried walk through the streets in any season.
