Kaskady Rodła is a breathtaking series of around 25 natural waterfalls and rocky steps along the Wątrobny stream, a source tributary of the Biała Wisełka river, tucked into the northwestern slopes of Barania Góra in the Silesian Beskids. With drops reaching up to 5 metres, this is the highest waterfall cascade in the entire Silesian Beskids — a wild and rewarding destination for any nature lover.

The character of this place changes beautifully with the seasons. Spring snowmelt turns the cascades into a roaring torrent, summer brings cool shade under beech and fir forests, and autumn drapes the valley in fiery golden hues. In winter, frozen steps and icicles transform the gorge into a fairy-tale ice landscape. The upper section of the cascades, carved into hard Istebna sandstones and conglomerates, is particularly dramatic — taller drops and steeper rock faces make it the highlight of the walk.

• Wisła Czarne district (town of Wisła, parking near the valley entrance) — blue hiking trail towards Barania Góra, moderate difficulty. The waterfalls are located directly along the trail.

• The waterfalls mark point 22 on the Barania Góra educational nature trail.
• The route follows the blue marked trail from Wisła Czarne to Barania Góra summit.
• Individual waterfall drops range from 0.5 to 5 metres; streambed gradient is 8–10%.
• Evorsion plunge pools can be seen at the base of the larger falls.

The name 'Kaskady Rodła' was officially bestowed on 19 September 1987, on the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Poles in Germany — 'Rodło' being the symbol of that organisation. A lovely reminder that this wild corner of nature carries a proud piece of Polish cultural history within it.
