Cienków Postrzedni (865 m a.s.l.) is the middle of three distinct steps along the Cienków ridge in the Silesian Beskids — a gentle, scenic walk that rewards you with open meadows and views over the Malinka and Biała Wisełka valleys. It is a place where the mountains feel accessible and unhurried, perfect for a relaxed half-day outing.

The Cienków ridge has a fascinating asymmetry: its northern slopes are long, gentle and carved by numerous streams, while the southern side drops sharply and steeply. The ridge is partly covered with wide mountain meadows that were once bustling with traditional shepherd culture. Today, scattered farmsteads of the Cienków hamlet — part of the town of Wisła — dot these clearings. In spring the meadows glow vivid green, and in autumn they turn into golden viewpoints above the valley.

• Return along the same trail takes approx. 1 hour.

• Cienków Postrzedni is passed along the yellow ridge trail — there is no separate summit path; it is encountered on the way from Wisła Nowa Osada to Zielony Kopiec via Cienków Niżni and Cienków Wyżni.
• The Cienków Ski Resort operates on the northern slopes of the lower part of the ridge, with a chairlift and nearly 7 km of ski runs — the area is busy in winter.
• At the foot of the ridge sits the famous Adam Małysz Ski Jumping Hill in Wisła-Malinka.

The name 'Cienków' appears in historical documents as far back as 1693, written in German as 'Tschenkowa' — making it one of the oldest recorded place names in this part of the Silesian Beskids.
