A single step across three countries at once — the Tri-Border Point where Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia meet is one of those rare places that combines a simple hike with a genuinely unique geographical experience. Tucked away in the Beskids, it feels like a well-kept secret shared between three nations.

The point sits in the valley of the Valový Stream, surrounded by gentle forested hills and meadows typical of the Beskid mountains. The villages of Hrčava (Czech Republic), Čierne (Slovakia) and Jaworzynka (Poland) each lie within easy reach. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate — no crowds, just birdsong and the sound of the stream. The actual border marker stands in the streambed and is hard to access, so three symbolic stone obelisks have been placed nearby, one on each country's territory, making for a perfect photo opportunity.
