Kiczory (990 m a.s.l.) is the second highest peak in the Stożek and Czantoria Range of the Silesian Beskids — a quiet, forested summit where the Polish-Czech state border makes a sharp right-angle turn. It is the kind of place that rewards those who love wild, unspoiled mountain nature and a proper ridge walk.

The summit is covered in beech and spruce forests, and along the ridge towards Kyrkawica you will find striking outcrops of coarse-grained Istebna sandstone shaped into rocky steps, pulpits and even stone mushroom formations. The atmosphere changes beautifully with the seasons: autumn paints the beeches in warm gold, while winter brings silence and a blanket of snow across the ridge. The main Beskid Trail runs right over the summit, making Kiczory a natural highlight on longer through-hikes.

• The Polish-Czech state border crosses the summit — crossing is permitted within the Schengen Area.
• On the Czech side of the southwestern slope lies the Plenisko nature reserve.
• The Polish slopes are home to the 'Istebna spruce', a local form of Norway spruce unique to this region.

The sandstone rocks of Kiczory contain veins of siderite — a modest iron ore that once attracted the attention of geologists and prospectors exploring these Beskid hills.
