Perched above the left bank of the Jizera River in the village of Pískowá Lhota, the romantic ruins of Myškův Hrádek offer a quiet escape into medieval history. This small castle ruin rewards visitors with river views, a peaceful atmosphere and a genuine sense of stepping back in time.

The castle sits on a promontory above the river, protected on two sides by steep slopes that once served as natural defenses. Three perimeter walls of the palace survive, now softened by moss and trees, creating an evocative scene especially in autumn and early spring when the vegetation opens up views toward the Jizera. It is a lovely spot for a relaxed walk combined with a touch of history, away from crowded tourist trails.
