The Museum of the Kłodzko Region is one of those places worth visiting as much for the building itself as for what's inside. It occupies a historic former Jesuit boarding house in Kłodzko, and its interiors - a baroque staircase, stucco-ceilinged halls, and a former chapel turned concert hall - are attractions in their own right.

Walking through the courtyard with its small garden and lapidarium of stone sculptures, you can really feel the centuries of history packed into this place. Inside, you'll find pewter and numismatic collections, a set of Silesian clocks, and contemporary art glass, all displayed in atmospheric historic rooms. It's a great stop while exploring the Kłodzko Land, especially on a rainy day or during the summer Night of Museums.
