Perched on a mountain meadow in Istebna-Stecówka, right along the Main Beskid Trail, stands a wooden church that has become a beloved waypoint for hikers crossing the Silesian Beskids. Despite a devastating fire in 2013, it has been faithfully rebuilt and continues to charm visitors with its simple, traditional beauty.
The meadow surrounding the church offers lovely views of the rolling Beskid hills, and the wooden architecture blends beautifully into the mountain scenery. In summer the area is lush and green, in autumn it glows with colour, and in winter the snow-covered church makes for a truly picturesque scene. It's a peaceful spot to pause and reflect during a long day on the trail.
