Tucked away in the quiet village of Bradu, near Avrig at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains, this fortified Lutheran church is one of Transylvania's understated historical gems, with roots stretching back to the 14th century. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and green, framed by sweeping views toward the Făgăraș ridgeline — Romania's most dramatic mountain range.
