Lespezi (2522 m a.s.l.) is one of the most impressive peaks in the Făgăraș Mountains of Romania's Southern Carpathians. Its bulk is especially striking when viewed from the north, commanding attention across the entire ridge. It is often considered a twin peak together with the neighbouring Călțun summit, giving this corner of the range a distinctive double-peaked silhouette.

The scenery around Lespezi is raw and alpine — rocky slopes, scree fields and the kind of wide-open skies that remind you just how high you are. Right at the foot of the peak lies the glacial Lake Călțun, one of the most scenic lakes in the Făgăraș range, its deep, cold waters set against a backdrop of steep cliffs. Summer brings hikers to the ridgeline and long daylight hours for exploration, while autumn and winter transform the massif into a serious, snow-bound wilderness best left to experienced mountaineers.

• Strunga Doamnei (mountain pass) — approach from the south-western side; demanding terrain, exact timing depends on the chosen starting point lower in the valley.

• Refugiul Lespezi, a mountain refuge hut, stands near the peak — it was built by the Salvamont rescue division from Avrig, Sibiu County, and offers basic shelter.
• Glacial Lake Călțun sits directly below the summit and serves as a natural landmark on the route.

Lespezi and Călțun are sometimes listed together as a double peak — a small but telling detail that captures how closely these two summits define each other and the character of this wild part of the Făgăraș range.
