Perched on a hill at the edge of the village of Coșevița, surrounded by the wooden crosses of an old cemetery, stands a modest wooden church built in 1776, dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. This is a place where time seems to slow down - just a few dozen meters away lies the border with Hunedoara County, and the hilltop offers a sweeping view over the village stretched along the road.

The church follows the simple traditional layout typical of the Făget region: a narthex, nave and polygonal altar, topped with a wooden vaulted ceiling inside. Its most distinctive feature, found elsewhere in the region only at the church in Românești, is the roof extended over the western entrance, forming a simple porch. The setting among the weathered wooden crosses of the old cemetery gives the place a quiet, contemplative atmosphere, especially striking at sunset when the light falls across the hillside.
