Tucked away in the Belianske Tatras at 1,290 m above sea level, the Edelweiss Hut — known in Slovak as 'Plesnivec' — is the only mountain hut on the slopes of this quieter, less-visited range. If you are looking for an authentic Tatra experience without the crowds, this is the place.

The hut sits in the Valley of Seven Springs at the foot of Bujaczy Wierch, surrounded by lush alpine vegetation and the gentle sound of mountain streams. The landscape shifts beautifully with the seasons: wildflowers in summer, golden foliage in autumn. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a great base for hikes toward the Great White Lake.
