Chata na Grúni is the highest-situated mountain hut in the Vrátna Valley — a welcoming refuge perched on a broad plateau beneath the summit of Grúň, deep in the heart of the Malá Fatra Krivánska range in Slovakia. Whether you are looking for a cosy base for hiking or a winter ski getaway, this hut delivers charm and convenience in equal measure.

Sitting at 970 metres above sea level, the hut occupies a scenic spot on a lateral ridge running from Poludňový grúň down towards the Vrátna Valley. In summer the wide open meadows and peaceful forest surroundings make it a perfect escape, with a children's playground and a campfire area for relaxed evenings. Come winter, the hut transforms into a lively little ski resort — two ski lifts operate right beside the building, making it a favourite with families and weekend skiers alike.
