Wyżnia Koprowa Pass (2148 m) is one of the most rewarding crossings in the High Tatras — a grassy saddle sitting between Koprová Kopa and Koprovice Peaks, connecting two magnificent valleys in a single mountain journey. If you are looking for a pass that feels genuinely wild yet remains accessible, this is a place worth putting on your list.

The terrain here is gentle by Tatra standards: both the western slope descending towards Hlinská Valley and the eastern one dropping into the small Szatania Valley are grassy and moderately inclined, making the crossing manageable even for less experienced hikers. In summer the saddle is wrapped in alpine meadows with sweeping views of surrounding ridges; autumn brings golden hues across the slopes; in winter the pass attracts ski-tourers and experienced mountaineers. The sense of standing on a true watershed between the Polish and Slovak sides of the Tatras makes every step worth it.
