The viewing tower on Włodzicka Mountain is a great pick if you want a rewarding panorama without a demanding climb. Standing atop the highest peak of the Włodzickie Hills near Świerki Dolne, it offers a surprisingly wide view over the Central Sudetes.

The current tower is a faithful reconstruction of the original structure built in 1927, which had fallen into ruin over the decades. The Nowa Ruda municipality rebuilt it as part of the Polish-Czech Ridge Trail project, officially reopening it in 2018. The surrounding slopes still carry traces of an old quarry, with remnants of stone-loading and transport equipment adding a touch of industrial history to the forested setting. Autumn and winter, when the trees thin out, tend to offer the clearest views.
