Mała Rogata Szczerbina is a remote mountain pass in the Wołowy Grzbiet ridge of the High Tatras, known mainly to alpinists traversing the main ridge between Mały Wołowy Róg and Rogata Grań. This is a spot for true enthusiasts of wild, rarely visited corners of the Tatra ridgeline rather than casual hikers.

The pass sits directly on the Polish-Slovak border, roughly halfway between Hińczowa Turnia and Wołowa Turnia. It is hard to make out from the Mięguszowiecka Valley side, but from the Rybi Potok Valley it appears as a distinct deep notch in the ridge, next to a sharp neighboring rock tower. A narrow gully drops northeast from the pass, later merging into a massive gully known as Komin Węgrzynowicza. The atmosphere here is one of raw, high-mountain wilderness — there is no tourist infrastructure, just steep walls and rocky towers typical of the highest parts of the Tatras.

How to reach the viewpoint

• Mięguszowiecka Valley — the easiest route year-round, requiring mountaineering experience as no marked tourist trail leads here
• From the southwest via Wołowcowa Równia — the shortest approach, about 20 minutes, UIAA grade 0

• This location has no tourist or scenic significance in the classic sense — it serves as a landmark for climbers

The pass was named by Władysław Cywiński in volume 10 of the Tatry guidebook, and the first recorded ascent was made by Katherine Bröske and Simon Häberlein on 11 September 1905 during a traverse of the entire Wołowy Grzbiet ridge.
