Zielone Korycisko is a wild, little-known side valley of the Western Tatras, tucked into the Stare Szałasiska ravine system. It is a place for those who value the raw, untouched character of the mountains rather than crowded trails.

Carved into the northern slopes of Uhrocie Kasprowe, between Bałda and a small ridge branching off Małe Uhrocie Kasprowe, the ravine starts as a narrow gorge with steep banks and widens higher up into a small glacial cirque covered with dwarf pine and grass. The lower slopes are cloaked in upper montane forest, giving way higher up to dwarf pine and grassy patches. On the western slopes rise distinctive rock formations known as Zielone Turnie. Along the bottom flows a small, nearly permanent stream - one of the two source tributaries of the Kasprowy Potok. This is a place of raw, pristine character, where the silence and wildness of the Tatras are felt most intensely.
