Szerokie is a wild ravine (żleb) in the Western Tatras, dropping from Zawrat Kasprowego all the way down to Jaworzynka. It's a spot for hikers who enjoy rugged, off-the-beaten-path terrain rather than crowded marked trails.

The gully begins at a notch called Szerokie Siodło (approx. 1575 m) and descends in an almost due-north direction. About 200 meters below the ridge of Zawrat Kasprowego, it merges with another gully, Rynna, flowing down from Rówienki. Together they form a single channel leading toward the nearly overgrown Wyżnia Polana Jaworzynka. Below the confluence point, the terrain drops sharply over a steep, roughly 15-meter step that demands caution. The entire surroundings are forested, and the streambed is choked with fallen trees, making passage technically demanding. The lower section, near the clearing, is overgrown with nettles - long trousers are a good idea. Despite the forest cover and limited snow reservoir, sizeable avalanches can occasionally sweep down this gully, so winter and spring visits require real mountain experience.

This is one of those corners of the Tatras where nature still calls the shots - fallen trees, nettles, and avalanches give it a raw, untamed character rarely found in the more frequented parts of the mountains.
