Na Pomezí Cave is one of the most remarkable underground attractions in the Czech Republic — the largest cave system in the country formed by the dissolving of marble, packed with stunning stalactites, stalagmites, cave curtains and even tiny cave pearls. Hidden in a forested hillside in the Jeseníky region, it offers a magical escape whatever the weather outside.

The cave lies between the spa village of Lipová-Lázně and Vápenná, carved through Devonian crystalline limestone. Its passages are characteristically long, narrow and tall, opening up into impressive domes — the Ice Dome, the Royal Dome, the White Dome and the Pulpit Dome among them. With a constant temperature of around 7.7°C year-round, it is a refreshing summer retreat and a cosy winter curiosity. The guided tour route covers 390 metres and takes about 45 minutes, while the full cave system stretches over 1,700 metres.

The cave was discovered on 28 August 1949 when explorers squeezed through a gap just 25×50 cm wide — and found one of the greatest underground treasures in the whole country waiting on the other side.
