Zielona Czuba is a broad, grassy summit tucked away in a side ridge of the High Tatras — a place known mostly to seasoned mountaineers rather than casual hikers. If you're after wild silence rather than crowded viewpoints, this is your kind of peak.

The summit belongs to the domed Jaworowe Wierchy, the gentler part of the Jaworowa Ridge, giving it a soft, grass-covered character quite different from the rocky Tatra crests nearby. A long ridge called Zielony Grzbiet stretches from Zielona Czuba toward the Biała Woda Valley, separating the Litworowy Gully from the Rówienki valley. At its foot lies the picturesque Zielona Jaworowa Valley with the Zielony Staw Jaworowy tarn — a rewarding sight for those willing to venture into this rarely visited corner of the Tatras. In summer the slopes glow green with grass, in winter they vanish under snow, and the silence feels almost physical — for centuries local shepherds from Spiš and Podhale hunted these very slopes and knew every fold of the terrain.
