Wilczyniec (887 m a.s.l.) is one of the most distinctive summits in the Krowiarki ridge — a lateral spur of the Śnieżnik Massif in the Eastern Sudetes of south-western Poland. Its dome-like silhouette and noticeably steep slopes give it a strong character that sets it apart from its neighbours.

The entire hill is cloaked in mixed lower-montane forest, making the ascent pleasantly shaded even on warm summer days. Situated about 4.2 km south-west of the town of Stronie Śląskie, Wilczyniec connects to Pasiecznik to the south, while the ridge continues north-east towards the Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem pass. In autumn the forest turns into a tapestry of gold and amber — one of the most rewarding colour displays in the Krowiarki range.

The hill is built from metamorphic rocks of the Lądek-Śnieżnik metamorphic complex — predominantly mica schists, with local outcrops of crystalline limestones (calcite and dolomite marbles) of the Stronie series. A quiet treat for anyone who enjoys reading geological history straight from the rocks beneath their boots.
