Wierch Spalenisko (1,324 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered peak in the Polish Western Tatras, tucked between two charming valleys — Dolina Lejowa and Dolina Chochołowska. If you are looking for a peaceful walk through dense subalpine forest away from the crowds, this is your place.

The summit is entirely covered by forest, so open panoramic views are not on offer here — instead, you get the calming atmosphere of old spruce and beech woodland wrapping around you on all sides. The peak rises above Dolina Lejowa to the east and above Dolina Huciańska to the west. Geographically it acts as a ridge junction, sending a short lateral ridge eastward via Kominiarskie Siodło toward Diabliniец (1,241 m). The nearby Kominiarska Przełęcz pass (1,307 m), through which the popular 'Ścieżka nad Reglami' trail runs, makes this area accessible in all seasons — from fresh spring greenery to fiery autumn colours and deep winter silence.
