Wielka Walentkowa Czuba is a rocky peak rising to 2128 metres along the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains, right on the Polish-Slovak border. This is a spot for experienced alpinists seeking the truly wild, remote corners of the Tatras, far from the crowds of popular trails.

The summit rises along the Walentkowa Ridge, between Wyżnie Walentkowe Wrótka and Niżnia Walentkowa Szczerbina. Its south-eastern slopes drop in a steep wall to the scree above Zadni Staw in the Valley of Five Polish Lakes, while the western slopes fall equally dramatically into the Walentkowe Kamienne cirque in the Walentkowa Valley. It is a rugged, rocky landscape dominated by cliffs, scree and jagged ridgelines, with views over some of the most striking corners of the Polish and Slovak Tatras.

The peak's name derives from the Walentkowa Valley, reflecting its close connection to the history of early mountaineering exploration in this part of the Tatras at the turn of the 20th century.
