Watrisko (960 m a.s.l.) is a rocky peak in the Małe Pieniny range that rewards those willing to step slightly off the beaten path. Sitting about 150 m north of the main ridge, it combines a dramatic limestone wall with sweeping views that rival anything the region has to offer.

The western and northern faces of the summit drop away in an almost vertical limestone cliff, some 20–30 m high — a striking sight at any time of year. The eastern and northern slopes are covered in forest, creating a sheltered feel as you approach. From the top, you are treated to beautiful views of the Pieniny, the Tatra Mountains, and the Zaskalskie-Bodnarówka nature reserve spread out below. Just north of the summit lies a lovely meadow, a remnant of the fields of the now-vanished village of Biała Woda — a perfect spot to rest and soak in the panorama.

• Jaworki village (Szczawnica municipality) — red trail (Tarnów–Wielki Rogacz), runs along the main ridge of Małe Pieniny. The trail does not cross the summit directly but passes through the saddle to its east. The peak itself is a short few-minute detour from the trail — easy, no technical difficulty.

• Watrisko lies entirely within Poland — no border crossing is required.
• The summit is a short off-trail detour from the main red route; allow a few extra minutes.
• The meadow below the peak is gradually being reforested, so the open views from it may diminish over time — visit sooner rather than later.

Watrisko anchors a small side ridge of Małe Pieniny that extends northwest toward the peaks of Góra Repowa and Skalskie — a quiet corner of the range that feels refreshingly untouched.
