Trojaska (1,702 m a.s.l.) rises in the heart of the Svydovets massif in the Ukrainian Carpathians — a peak where dense forests give way to sweeping alpine meadows and the views stretch across a cluster of neighbouring summits all topping 1,700 m. If you are looking for an authentic Carpathian ridge experience away from the crowds, this is exactly the kind of place you want to find.

Up to around 1,400 m the slopes are cloaked in conifer and beech forest, transitioning above that into the wide-open 'polonyna' — the rolling highland pastures that define the Eastern Carpathian landscape. The eastern and north-western flanks are steep, while the southern slopes are noticeably gentler. Immediately to the north a saddle connects Trojaska to Mount Tataruka (1,707 m), to the west lies Mount Unhariaska (1,707 m), and to the east the lovely Apshynets lake. The Apshynets nature reserve in the valley below to the north-east adds another layer of wild beauty to the area.

• Starting from Yasinia village (south approach) — the well-known long-distance trail 'Along the Ridges of Svydovets' passes beneath the summit on its southern side, connecting Yasinia with Ust-Chorna; difficulty: moderate.
• Alternative branch: the trail forks northward from near the summit — via Mount Tataruka down to Okole Pass (1,193 m).

• Trojaska is located in Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine — a valid travel document is required to enter the country.
• The nearest settlement is the village of Chorna Tysa.
