Suchý vrch (1,267 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the south-eastern part of the Kriváň Malá Fatra range — a place for those who prefer solitude over crowds and the rustling of trees over sweeping panoramas. It may not reward you with a view, but it offers something rarer: genuine wilderness.

The wooded summit sits at the southern end of a ridge extending from the peak of Stoh. Its western slopes drop into the Šútovská valley, the eastern slopes descend towards Bystrička, and the southern flanks fall away to the Váh river valley. The dense forest canopy makes it a lovely walk in summer shade and a colourful experience in autumn. The north-western slopes form part of the Šútovská dolina National Nature Reserve, one of the most ecologically valuable corners of Malá Fatra.

• Kraľovany — follow the marked trail towards Stoh on the main ridge, then turn off through forest to Suchý vrch — moderate difficulty. There is no marked trail directly to the summit; navigation through forest is required after leaving the signed route.

• No marked hiking trail leads to the summit — independent navigation is necessary once you leave the signed path towards Stoh.
• The summit is densely forested with no views — this is an adventure hike rather than a viewpoint trip.

The north-western slopes of Suchý vrch fall within the protected Šútovská dolina National Nature Reserve, making this one of the more ecologically sensitive areas in the entire Malá Fatra.
