Stożek Mały (843 m a.s.l.) is a gentle, open-topped summit in the Silesian Beskids, sitting right on the Polish-Czech border. What makes it special is its position along one of the finest stretches of the Main Beskid Trail — a place where a single walk takes you through two countries at once. It may be modest in height, but it more than delivers in atmosphere and views.

The summit is a softly rounded, treeless rise along the main ridge between Wielki Stożek and Cieślar. Because it rises above the treeline, views open up freely across the surrounding ridges and valleys. The nearby hamlet of Stożek Mały (belonging to the Polish town of Wisła) sits just below the summit on the northern side, while the Czech hamlet of Malý Stožek lies on the western slope in the municipality of Nydek. In autumn the hillsides glow with colour, and in winter the exposed ridge takes on a beautifully wild, windswept character.

• From the Polish side, from the Dziechcinka valley (Wisła) — yellow trail up to the ridge, then red trail to the summit; difficulty: easy to moderate
• Along the ridge from Wielka Czantoria or Wielki Stożek — red trail (Main Beskid Trail) running along the Polish-Czech border; difficulty: moderate
• From the Czech side, from Kolibiska in the Głuchówka valley — green trail up to the ridge; difficulty: moderate

• The Polish-Czech state border runs directly over the summit — the red trail follows it, making cross-border hiking straightforward.
• The PTTK mountain hut on nearby Wielki Stożek makes an excellent base or extension to a visit here.
• A border crossing point between Stożek and Malý Stožek once existed here — it is no longer operational.
