Stih (1704 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding summit in the north-eastern part of the Svydovets massif in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Open alpine meadows spread across its upper slopes, the views stretch toward the highest peak of the range, and the ski resort of Dragobrat sits right at its foot. It is a mountain that works in every season.

The terrain here is wonderfully varied — the north-western flanks are steep and dramatic, while the eastern and southern slopes roll down more gently. In summer the summit meadows are lush and wide open, offering sweeping views south along the ridge toward Blyznytsia (1883 m), the crown of the Svydovets range. To the north-west stands Kotel (1770 m). In winter the whole area transforms into a popular ski destination, with Dragobrat resort buzzing at the base of the mountain.

Locals in the valleys still call this peak 'Stuh' in their regional dialect — a small but charming reminder that the Carpathians have always been a crossroads of languages and cultures.
