Sośnik is a small, quiet hill in the Śnieżnik Massif, perfect for travelers who want to escape crowded trails and enjoy a peaceful walk through genuine Sudeten wilderness. This side ridge drops steeply toward the Upper Nysa Trench, offering a secluded, off-the-beaten-path feel.

The slopes are covered with beech-spruce forests typical of the lower montane zone, giving the area a distinctive character throughout the year – cool green shade in summer, colorful foliage in autumn, and hushed, snow-dusted quiet in winter. The hill itself is built of gneiss rock, and its gentle, forested slopes make for an easy, relaxing hike. The whole area lies within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park, whose boundary runs right at the foot of Sośnik, ensuring the natural surroundings remain largely untouched.

• Przełęcz Koło Pompli (pass) – approach from the pass, moderate difficulty, suitable for an averagely fit hiker
• Cieszyca stream valley area – alternative approach through lower montane forests

The former German name of the hill, Kieferbusch'l, is a small reminder of the region's turbulent past – today it's simply a place for those who value silence and genuine contact with mountain forest.
