Słoneczna is one of the higher summits of the Sowie Mountains, tucked away in dense beech forest and wrapped in a quiet, forested calm that appeals to hikers who prefer immersive woodland walks over panoramic views. It's a peak defined by atmosphere rather than vistas.

The dome-shaped summit is broad and gently rounded, so subtle that you might walk right over it without quite realizing you've reached the top. The south-eastern slope descends gradually, while the remaining flanks are noticeably steeper. Near the top, hikers can find an interesting rock formation known as the Słoneczne Skałki (Sunny Rocks). The beech forest covering most of the peak - including a rare, dwarfed lower-montane beech variety unusual at this elevation - creates a fairy-tale mood, especially in autumn mist. The whole area falls within the Sowie Mountains Landscape Park and the Bukowa Kalenica nature reserve.
