Siminy (1,288 m a.s.l.) is the second-highest peak of the Levoča Hills, rising above the village of Šambron, roughly 10 km south of Stará Ľubovňa. This is a summit for those craving a quieter, off-the-beaten-path hike where the reward is solitude as much as scenery.

The peak sits on a ridge branching northwest from the Kuligura massif, surrounded by other summits of the Levoča Hills such as Hrča, Kopa and Zámčisko. The top is partly open meadow and partly dense forest, so views aren't guaranteed everywhere — you need to find the right clearing. When you do, you're rewarded with vistas stretching to Spišská Magura, the Ľubovňa Highlands, Čergov, Bachureň, Branisko, and on clear days even the High and Low Tatras and Babia Hora. Autumn brings colourful beech and fir forests, while winter offers a quiet, snow-covered landscape — though good orientation skills are a must.
