Rówienkowa Turnia (2272 m a.s.l.) is one of those High Tatra summits that rewards only those willing to step beyond marked trails. With no official hiking path to its top, this rocky peak remains a quiet retreat for experienced mountaineers who value raw, unspoiled wilderness.

Rising above the Rówienki Valley and the Veľká Studená dolina, the peak sits proudly in the main Tatra ridge, flanked by Graniasta Turnia and Krzesany Róg. The rocky terrain and exposed ridge give it a bold, alpine character. In autumn, when the crowds thin out and warm light bathes the ridge, the views from the summit are simply breathtaking. In winter, snow and ice transform the unmarked approach into a serious mountaineering challenge that should not be underestimated.

• There is no marked tourist trail to the summit — the ascent requires experience in high-mountain terrain and solid route-finding skills.
• The peak lies within the Slovak part of the High Tatras, inside TANAP national park — park regulations apply.

The first recorded summer ascent was made by Zygmunt Klemensiewicz and Jerzy Maślanka on 30 August 1906 — a reminder that this peak has been quietly inspiring bold climbers for well over a century.
