Roháčka (1,028 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Čierna hora range in the Slovak Ore Mountains — a quiet forest summit that rewards hikers with surprising views and a true sense of getting away from it all. If you enjoy peaceful trails without the crowds, this is your kind of mountain.

Sitting on the border of the Prešov and Košice regions, the peak rises above the villages of Margecany, Klenov, Hrabkov and Kluknava. Most of the mountain is covered in dense forest, giving it a wild, secluded atmosphere that is especially magical in autumn. Views are limited in places, but from the right spots along the ridge you can take in neighbouring ranges — and on a clear day, even parts of the High and Low Tatras appear on the horizon. A nearby twin summit, Čierna hora (1,024.5 m), sits just along the ridge to the northwest.
