Radziejowa (1,266 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Beskid Sądecki range and a coveted stamp on the Crown of Polish Mountains list — a rewarding summit wrapped in dense forest, rich history and a fantastic viewing tower. It is the kind of mountain that feels both accessible and genuinely impressive once you reach the top.

From the summit you can enjoy a sweeping 360-degree panorama taking in the Tatra Mountains, the Pieniny, the Gorce range and the rolling ridges of the Beskid Sądecki. Because the peak and its slopes are almost entirely covered by forest, the wooden observation tower — roughly 20 m tall and opened in 2020 — is essential for making the most of the view. Autumn is a particularly magical time, when a sea of golden and russet foliage stretches to the horizon in every direction.

• The wooden viewing tower (approx. 20 m) on the summit has been closed for repairs several times in the past — it is worth checking its current status before your visit.

• The Baniska nature reserve on the northern slope features the Bania cave and a small landslide lake called Młaka — a worthwhile detour.
• A new nature trail called 'Rogasiowy Szlak' runs through the Roztoka Mała valley and was opened alongside the new tower.

Radziejowa harbours the only known location in all of Poland where the mealy primrose grows — discovered on a small clearing at around 800 m in 1959 and a true botanical treasure. The peak also has a quiet wartime story: in autumn 1943, partisans of the Home Army destroyed German geodetic equipment installed here during the occupation.
