Príslop (1,214 m a.s.l.) is the second highest peak in the Spišská Magura range — a quiet, off-the-beaten-path summit that rewards those willing to venture beyond marked trails with sweeping views and a genuine sense of wilderness. If you are looking for a place where the crowds disappear and the mountains breathe freely, this is it.

The peak sits in the main ridge of the Magura range, right on the boundary between Tatras National Park and the protected zone of Pieniny National Park. The summit is draped in open, patchy woodland that parts in just the right places to reveal stunning panoramas: the High Tatras and Belianske Tatras to the south, the Pieniny gorge country, the Ľubovnianska Highlands, the Levoča Hills, and the ridge-lines of southern Poland stretching along the horizon. Autumn colours on the surrounding slopes are exceptional, and in winter the place falls into a deep, peaceful silence. The western slopes are protected as the Goliašová nature reserve, adding a wild, untouched quality to the whole area.
