Poustevník is a modest but charming hill sitting right on the Czech-German border, between the villages of Nová Víska and Horní Poustevna. It's a place where the gentle landscape of the Šluknov Hills meets a story stretching back to the 17th century, all crowned by a distinctive cross at the summit.

The hilltop is covered in mixed forest that turns especially picturesque in autumn and winter. The terrain is calm, with gentle slopes running down toward nearby streams, and on the southeastern slope you'll find an old, disused quarry - a reminder of the area's geological past. It's a quiet, low-key spot, perfect for an easy walk away from the crowds.
