Porębek (898 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the Śnieżnik Massif in the Polish Sudetes — the kind of place that rewards those who wander off the beaten path. Modest in height but rich in atmosphere, it offers a genuine taste of the unspoiled Śnieżnik Landscape Park.

The peak forms a narrow ridge in the north-eastern arm of Śnieżnik, flanked by two stream valleys — Cisowy Rozdół to the east and an unnamed tributary of the Kleśnica to the west. A continuous spruce forest of the lower montane belt covers the entire summit, giving it a calm, almost meditative character in every season. In winter the snow-laden trees create a fairytale scene, while in spring the surrounding valleys hum with the sound of snowmelt streams.
