Ostry Wierch is a modest but distinctive peak in the Bliźniaki Range, in the eastern part of the Beskid Mały mountains. It is a place for those who crave solitude and untouched forest scenery, far away from crowds and marked trails.

The summit is entirely covered by mixed forest, giving it a wild, untamed character in every season. In spring and summer the forest turns lush green, autumn brings vivid colors, and winter blankets the slopes in quiet snow. The northern slopes descend gently toward the plain around Inwałd, while the eastern ridge, fairly flat, stretches toward the Choczenka valley. The southwestern slopes drop into the Pilny Potok valley, and from there the ridge continues on to join the nearby Kłokocznik.

How to reach the summit

• No marked hiking trail leads to Ostry Wierch — access is only possible via forest roads and clearings, best approached from the Inwałd area.
• This route requires good navigation skills and experience hiking off marked paths.

Practical information

• No marked trail exists — hiking here is an exploratory experience requiring a map and terrain orientation.
• In the Choczenka gorge, between the eastern slopes of Ostry Wierch and the Bliźniaki, there are exposed Carpathian flysch outcrops and rock formations, an area planned for protection as a landscape nature reserve.

This is one of the forgotten corners of the Beskid Mały, where nature still sets its own rules, and the geological curiosities of the Choczenka gorge await discovery by curious hikers.
