Nowak is a quiet, understated peak in the Śnieżnik Massif, tucked away in a side ridge stretching from Goworek through Gawlik towards Pątnik. It is a great pick for hikers seeking solitude, deep spruce forest, and scenic gneiss rock formations away from the crowds.

The summit rises above the village of Goworów and the valley of the Goworówka River, with its slopes descending toward the Upper Nysa Trench. The entire mountain is covered with lower montane spruce forest, offering pleasant shade in summer and vibrant colors in autumn. Above the Goworówka valley, Śnieżnik gneiss forms a series of picturesque rock outcrops worth spotting along the way. In winter, the area turns into a peaceful, snow-covered forest, perfect for quiet snowshoe walks.

• Goworów — approach through the lower montane forest, time and difficulty depending on the chosen route, moderately demanding due to the forested terrain
• Alternative approach via the side ridge connecting Goworek, Gawlik, and Pątnik

Nowak, formerly known as Neutzlerberg or Nowacka Kopa, lies within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park, making this corner of the Sudetes a valuable natural area.
