Mikulovka (1,193 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forested peak in the Skorušinské vrchy range, rising above the village of Habovka about 8 km south-east of Tvrdošín. It sits right on the main ridge of the range, making it a natural waypoint for anyone exploring this lesser-known corner of the Slovak mountains.

Dense woodland covers most of the summit, giving the hike a peaceful, sheltered feel throughout the year. In spots where the tree cover thins out, you can catch glimpses of the surrounding Skorušinské vrchy, Chočské vrchy and the Western Tatras, and on clear days even the Malá Fatra, Oravská Magura and Oravské Beskydy ranges come into view. In winter the snow-laden forest is particularly atmospheric, while spring and autumn bring vivid colours and a real sense of solitude.

The peak belongs to the Orava river catchment — the southern slopes drain via Blatná stream into Studený potok, while the northern slopes feed Zábiedovčík, which flows into the Oravica. A marked hiking trail crosses the summit, so navigation is straightforward.
